Application Process for CSIR-UGC NET December 2025
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the commencement of online applications for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination scheduled for December 2025. Interested candidates can submit their applications at csirnet.nta.nic.in until October 24, 2025. The deadline for fee payment is set for October 25, 2025.
A correction window will be available from October 27 to 29, 2025. The examination is planned for December 18, with two shifts: the first from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
According to the official notification, the exam aims to assess the eligibility of Indian nationals for the 'Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor roles', 'Assistant Professor positions', and 'Ph.D. admissions' in various Indian universities and colleges through a Computer Based Test (CBT) format.

Application Fee Structure
Applicants belonging to the general category are required to pay a fee of Rs 1150. For General-EWS/OBC (NCL)* candidates, the fee is Rs 600, while SC/ST/PwD/PwBD/Third Gender applicants need to pay Rs 325.
