CBSE To Conduct Class 10, 12 Board Exams In 2024 From February 15 Onwards; Check Here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced that the class 10 and class 12 board exams will commence from February 15, 2024. This marks the first time that the board has declared examination dates a year in advance. In related news, the CBSE has recently released the class 12th results for the current academic year, May 12, 2023. Students can access their results via the board's official websites, cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in. The pass percentage for CBSE class 12th students this year is 87.33 percent, which is a 5.38 percent decrease from last year's overall pass percentage of 97.71 percent. Additionally, girls have once again outperformed boys, with an overall pass percentage of 90.68 percent for girls and 84.67 percent for boys.

Trivandrum ranked the highest on a regional basis with 99.91 percent, followed by Bengaluru, Chennai, West Delhi, Chandigarh, and Delhi East. Students can access their marksheets by entering their roll number and date of birth on the CBSE portal, but the original marks sheets and certificates will be distributed by their schools in due course of time. The digital copies of the CBSE Result 2023 will be available on DigiLocker app. The details that will be mentioned on CBSE Board Exam Result 2023 include Candidate’s Name, Father and Mother Name, School Name, Subject Name, Roll Number, Board Name, Subject-wise Marks obtained, Subject Code, Qualifying status (pass/fail), Grades, and Remarks.

To check the CBSE Class 12 Result 2023, students should follow these steps:

Step 1 - Go to the CBSE website at cbse.gov.in or cbseresults.nic.in.

Step 2 - Locate the ‘Result’ tab on the homepage and click on it.

Step 3 - Click on the “CBSE 12th Result 2023" link.

Step 4 - Enter your Roll Number and other necessary information in the login window that appears on the screen.

Step 5 - Double-check all the details and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 6 - The CBSE Class 12 Board Result 2023 will be displayed on the screen for students in the Arts, Commerce, and Science courses.
