CBSE Class 12 Results Announcement: What Students Need to Know
Upcoming Release of Class 12 Results
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is poised to announce the results for Class 12 shortly. Students can access their results by visiting the official websites: cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in. Additionally, results will be available through various other platforms. Historically, these websites experience significant traffic on result days, which can lead to slow loading times. To mitigate this, the Board has set up three dedicated servers to ensure a smooth experience for students.
Examination Statistics and Result Timeline
This year, approximately 18.59 lakh students participated in the examinations held from February 17 to April 10. The results are expected to be declared anytime between May 11 and May 17, 2026. Students can also access their digital mark sheets via DigiLocker. After the results are published, they can log into the DigiLocker app or website, navigate to the 'Education' section, and select the CBSE Board. By entering their Roll Number and Year of Passing, students can easily download their mark sheets.
Accessing Results Without Internet
No Internet? Get Your Results via SMS
In case of internet issues during the result announcement, students can still receive their results via SMS. To do this, they should open their messaging app and format their message as follows: "CBSE12 [Roll Number] [Date of Birth] [School Number] [Center Number]." This message should be sent to 7738299899. Students will receive their subject-wise marks shortly after.
