This year, the overall pass rate for the CBSE Class 12 Examination has seen a decline. A total of 1,780,365 students registered for the exam, with 1,768,968 actually taking it. Out of these, 1,507,109 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 85.20%. In comparison, the previous year (2025) saw 1,704,367 registrations, with 1,692,794 students appearing and 1,496,307 passing, leading to a pass percentage of 88.39%. This indicates a decrease of 3.19% in the overall pass rate compared to last year.
