CBSE Class 12 Compartment Result 2026: Today marks an important milestone for students in Class 12 under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) as the results for the compartment examinations have been officially announced. After the exams were conducted in late July, students have been anxiously awaiting these results, which have now provided them with much-needed relief.


Students can access their CBSE Class 12 compartment exam results for 2026 through the official CBSE websites—cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in—as well as via the DigiLocker results portal. To view their results, students will need to input their roll number, admit card number, school number, and security PIN.


The compartment examinations took place on July 28, aimed at students who did not achieve the minimum passing marks in the main board exams. These exams were held in an offline format at designated centers across India and internationally. According to the board's data, a total of 163,800 students were categorized under the compartment category.


This year, the success rate for students in the CBSE Class 12 supplementary/improvement examinations stood at 53.08%. Out of 291,576 students who registered for the supplementary exams, 275,287 actually participated. Among them, 111,056 students opted for the improvement exam, while 164,231 took the compartment exam. The overall pass percentage recorded was 53.08%.

To check and download their marksheets, students should follow these steps:



  1. Visit the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in, or the results portal, cbseresults.nic.in.


  2. Click on the link for the CBSE Class 12 Compartment Result 2026.


  3. Input the required information such as roll number, admit card number, and school number.


  4. Enter the CAPTCHA code or security PIN displayed on the screen.


  5. Click on "Submit".



The CBSE Class 12 Compartment marksheet will then be displayed on the screen. Students should download the result and retain a copy for future reference.


Alternative Methods to Check Results:


If the official CBSE websites experience high traffic and are slow or inaccessible, students can also utilize platforms like DigiLocker and the UMANG mobile application to access their marksheets.
