Excitement Builds for CBSE Class 10 Results: Students from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) are eagerly awaiting their results. Approximately 670,000 students participated in the 'Second Board Examination 2026' held in May, and the results are anticipated to be released shortly on the official websites, cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. This year marks the inaugural instance of CBSE conducting Class 10 board exams in two phases.
To reduce student anxiety and offer a chance for score improvement, CBSE organized board exams in two phases. The results for the first phase were announced on April 15, 2026, achieving a pass percentage of 93.70%. Students who were unhappy with their initial scores or were categorized as 'compartment' candidates took the Phase 2 exam, which occurred from May 15 to May 21, 2026. The results are expected to be released soon, as the evaluation of answer sheets has concluded.
Over 6.6 Lakh Students Await Results
More than 668,000 students registered for the Second Board Examination, conducted under CBSE's new assessment framework. According to board statistics, around 85,285 candidates were in the 'compartment' category, while over 525,000 students aimed to enhance their scores. The highest participation was noted in subjects like Science and Mathematics, where many students retook the exams to improve their grades.

For students in areas with unreliable internet, CBSE has introduced offline methods for result checking. Students can request their results by sending an SMS in a specified format. Additionally, they can obtain their results by calling the board’s IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) numbers.
Verify Your Marksheet Details:
After downloading the CBSE Class 10 result, students should carefully check the information on their provisional marksheet. Ensure that details such as name, parents' names, roll number, date of birth, subject-wise marks, grades, and pass/fail status are accurate. If any discrepancies are found, contact your school or the board immediately to prevent issues with admission to Class 11.
