CBSE Cancels Class XII Board Exams in Middle East Amid Rising Tensions
CBSE's Decision on Class XII Exams
New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially canceled the Class XII board examinations for students in the Middle East due to the escalating conflict involving the US, Israel, and Iran, as confirmed by officials on Sunday.
According to CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, all Class XII exams that were set to take place between March 16 and April 10 for students in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE are now canceled. This includes previously postponed exams.
Bhardwaj also mentioned that details regarding how results will be declared for these students will be provided separately.
This cancellation follows an earlier announcement by the Board regarding the same issue.
