CBSE Cancels 10th and 12th Exams in Middle East Amid Ongoing Conflict

In light of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the cancellation of 10th-grade exams scheduled from March 7th to 11th, along with previously postponed exams on March 2nd, 5th, and 6th. The 12th-grade exams set for March 7th have also been postponed, with further updates to follow. Impact of Conflict on CBSE Exams

The ongoing conflict involving Israel, the United States, and Iran has led to significant changes in the scheduling of CBSE examinations in the Middle East. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made a crucial announcement regarding the 10th and 12th-grade board exams, following a thorough assessment of the situation in various Middle Eastern countries, including Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

In a recent statement, the CBSE confirmed the cancellation of the 10th-grade exams that were set to take place from March 7th to 11th. Additionally, the exams that were previously postponed on March 2nd, 5th, and 6th will also not be conducted. Details regarding the results for 10th-grade students in the Middle East will be communicated separately.

Postponement of March 7th Exams

For the 12th-grade exams, the board has announced that the exams scheduled for March 7th are also postponed, with a revised date to be provided later. The CBSE will reassess the situation on March 7th and will issue further instructions concerning exams planned for March 9th. Students in Class 12 are encouraged to stay in touch with their schools and to monitor official announcements closely.

Previously, the CBSE had decided to delay the Class 10th and 12th examinations that were originally set for March 5th and 6th in the Middle East. The board stated, "The Class 10th and 12th examinations scheduled for March 5th and 6th will not take place in CBSE-affiliated schools across Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. This decision was made after evaluating the current circumstances in the region."
