The Telangana Board of School Education has announced the results for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSC) exam 2023. Out of 4.91 lakh students who appeared for the Telangana 10th exams, 4.19 lakh students have passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 86.60%. The topper of the TS SSC exams was Nirmal, who secured a pass percentage of 99%. This year, 2793 schools recorded a 100% pass percentage. Students can check their Telangana Class 10th Result on the official websites of BSE Telangana at bse.telangana.gov.in and bseresults.telangana.gov.in.

In terms of gender-wise performance, girls outperformed boys with 88.53% of girls passing the exam compared to 84.68% of boys. Vikarabad district was the best-performing district with 59.46% of students passing the exam. Students who could not clear the TS SSC exams 2023 can appear for advanced supplementary exams scheduled from June 14 to June 22, and the last date for fee payment is May 26. The Telangana board will also provide special classes for students who failed the SSC exams, along with mid-day meals and snacks.

Comparing with previous year pass rates, in 2022, the overall pass percentage was 90%, with 4,53,201 students out of 5,03,570 students passing the exam. In 2021, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all students were evaluated based on their internal assessment marks and promoted, resulting in a 100% pass rate without supplementary exams. The pass percentage in 2019 was 92.43%, higher than 2018's 83.78% and slightly lower than 2017's 84.15%.
