Bihar School Examination Board Announces Class 12 Results
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has published the results for the Intermediate (Class 12) examinations on March 23. For students who are unhappy with their scores in any subject or those who did not pass, the Board has opened applications for scrutiny and compartment exams. The last date to submit these forms is April 2, 2026.

Fee Structure for Applications
Mandatory Fee Payment
A fee of ₹120 per subject is required for scrutiny applications. A separate fee applies for the compartment exam, which can be found in the image below.

85.19% Pass Rate
This year, 85.19% of students passed the Bihar Board Class 12 exams. The pass rate for girls was notably higher at 86.23%, while 84.09% of boys passed.
Top Performers in the Bihar Board
A total of 26 students achieved the top ranks in the Bihar Board Intermediate exams, with 19 being girls. Girls excelled in the Commerce and Arts streams, while a male student topped the Science stream. Aditya Prakash Aman from Samastipur achieved the highest score in the Science stream with 96%. In Commerce, Nishu Kumari from Gaya topped with 479 marks (95.8%), and Ritu Kumari led the Arts stream with 489 marks.
