The Madhya Pradesh High Court has unveiled the timetable for the preliminary examination aimed at the direct recruitment of Assistant Grade-3 personnel in district courts for the year 2026. As per the notification from the High Court, the examination will take place in seven cities across Madhya Pradesh: Jabalpur, Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Sagar, Satna, and Ujjain.

Preliminary Examination Pattern

**Exam Format:**


The MP High Court Assistant Grade-3 preliminary examination will be conducted online and will feature multiple-choice questions. A total of 100 questions will be presented, with each question worth one mark. Candidates will have 120 minutes (two hours) to complete the exam, which will cover subjects such as General Knowledge, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, Hindi, English, and Computer Knowledge.


Candidates should prepare for all subjects, as 20 questions will be allocated to each topic, with a significant emphasis on General Knowledge related to Madhya Pradesh.


Hindi Typing Test Requirements

**Typing Test Details:**


Those who pass the preliminary examination will be invited to take the Hindi typing skill test, which is worth 50 marks and lasts for 10 minutes. Candidates must type approximately 350 words using the Remington Gail keyboard layout. Marks will be deducted for errors and the use of the backspace key during the typing test.


Specifically, 0.50 marks will be deducted for each incorrect or omitted word, and 0.10 marks will be deducted for each use of the backspace key.


Regular practice in Hindi typing is essential, focusing on accuracy over speed.
