West Bengal Police has announced recruitment for Sub-Inspector (SI) positions in both Unarmed Branch (UB) and Armed Branch (AB) for male and female candidates. Application Fee:

• All categories of WB: Rs. 270/- (Application Fee: Rs. 250/- + Processing Fee: Rs. 20/-)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit: Between 20 to 30 years (as on 01-01-2024)
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
• Language Requirement: Proficiency in Bengali (speaking, reading, and writing)

Physical Standards: (Height, Weight, Chest measurements for different categories)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• Male (UB & AB): 800 meters run within 3 minutes
• Female (UB): 400 meters run within 2 minutes
• Transgender (UB & AB): 400 meters run within 1 minute 40 seconds
