The Madhya Pradesh Police Department has officially announced recruitment for Sub-Inspector (SI) and Subedar positions. Interested candidates can submit their applications online from September 9 to September 23, 2026.


Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, candidates should ensure they meet the eligibility requirements. Applicants must possess a graduation degree from a recognized institution. Additionally, the age limit for candidates is set at a maximum of 33 years for Sub-Inspector and 38 years for Subedar, as of January 1, 2026. Age relaxation is available for candidates from reserved categories.

This recruitment drive will fill a total of 507 positions, distributed as follows:



  • Subedar: 81 posts


  • Sub-Inspector (Special Armed Force - SAF): 69 posts


  • Sub-Inspector (District Executive Force - DEF): 312 posts


  • Sub-Inspector (Arms) - Technical: 10 posts


  • Sub-Inspector (Photo) - Technical: 9 posts


  • Sub-Inspector (QD) - Technical: 4 posts


  • Sub-Inspector (Fingerprint) - Technical: 22 posts
