The interview session that was set for the afternoon of January 22, 2026, has been cancelled due to the full-dress rehearsal for the Republic Day Parade 2026 taking place in New Delhi. Candidates affected by this change will now participate in their personality test on February 27, 2026, during the morning session.

Reason Behind the Rescheduling

The UPSC has indicated that logistical issues related to the Republic Day parade rehearsal in the capital necessitated this change. To facilitate the smooth execution of both the rehearsal and the interviews, the afternoon session on January 22 was postponed.
