Important Update for UPSC Candidates



A significant update has been released for those who have successfully passed the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Main Examination. The interviews for candidates who qualified for the next stage have been rescheduled. This change is due to the 'full dress rehearsal' for the Republic Day parade taking place in Delhi. Initially, the interviews were set for February 27th.


Revised Interview Date


As per the latest UPSC notification, the interviews will now occur on February 27, 2026. This extension provides candidates with extra time to enhance their preparation. The interviews on this date will take place in the morning session, while the schedule for other interviews remains unchanged.


Interview Location


Shortlisted candidates are required to arrive at the UPSC office located at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi, by 9:00 AM on February 27, 2026. The afternoon interview session is set to begin at 1:00 PM.


Documents Needed


Candidates attending the UPSC interview must carry their e-summon letter, original educational certificates, graduation degree, caste certificate, a recent photograph, and valid identity proof, along with additional passport-sized photographs.
