UP Police Recruitment: 32,679 Constable Positions Available for Youth
Exciting Job Opportunities in UP Police
On the first day of the new year, the government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced a significant opportunity for young individuals. A recruitment drive will be conducted to fill 32,679 vacant constable roles within the UP Police. The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has published an advertisement detailing the recruitment for constable positions across various units, including the Police, PAC, UP SSF, Jail Warder, and Mounted Police.
As per the announcement, there are 10,469 positions available for both male and female candidates in the Civil Police. Additionally, the PAC has 15,131 vacancies designated for male applicants, while the UP SSF has 1,341 openings for male candidates.
The online application process will commence on December 31, 2025, and will conclude on January 30, 2026. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board's official website, uppbpb.gov.in. It is essential for candidates to register using the One-Time Registration (OTR) system prior to applying.
Recruitment for Women in PAC
The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has also announced that 2,282 female candidates will be recruited for the PAC Women's Battalion in locations such as Lucknow, Budaun, and Gorakhpur. Furthermore, there are 106 positions available for female Jail Warders, 71 for male candidates in the Mounted Police, and 3,279 for male Jail Warders.

The application fees are as follows:
1. General/EWS/Other Backward Classes - Rs. 500
2. Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes - Rs. 400
Educational Requirements
Candidates must have completed their 12th grade from a recognized educational institution.
Age Criteria
The age limit for male applicants is set between 18 to 22 years, while for female applicants, it ranges from 18 to 25 years. Relaxations in the upper age limit will be provided to candidates from reserved categories in accordance with existing regulations.
