The State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) in Lucknow has launched the online application process for UP ITI admissions for the year 2026. Students who have completed their Class 10 can apply by visiting the official SCVT website. As in previous years, admissions will be determined based on merit, eliminating the need for an entrance exam. Both government and private institutions are offering admission opportunities. Merit-Based Admission Process

Admissions to UP ITI will not require an entrance examination. Candidates will be selected based on a merit list derived from their Class 10 or equivalent examination scores. Eligibility Criteria and Application Fees

To be eligible, candidates must have completed Class 10 from a recognized board. The minimum age for applicants is 14 years, with no upper age limit imposed. Additionally, applicants must be residents (domicile holders) of Uttar Pradesh.

The application fee is ₹250 for candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories, while SC and ST category candidates will need to pay ₹150.
