The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to conduct the UGC-NET examination for June 2026 from June 22 to June 30, 2026, at various centers nationwide. Candidates can now download their exam city intimation slip, which will assist them in determining their exam location and planning their travel accordingly.


Downloading the City Slip

**Steps to Access the City Slip**
Applicants should be aware that the city slip is available exclusively online through the official NTA website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. To download the slip, follow these steps:


* Visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in.


* Click on the link titled "Advance City Intimation of UGC-NET June 2026" found in the 'Latest News' section.


* Enter your application number, date of birth, and the security pin provided, then click 'Submit'.


* The city slip will be displayed, allowing you to download and save it.


Exam Schedule by Subject

**Exam Dates**
The UGC-NET exam will take place on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, and 30, 2026, with two shifts each day. The first shift is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Below is the subject-wise timetable:




Admit Card Release Information

**Admit Card Availability**
The NTA will issue the admit cards four days prior to the exam date. Candidates must bring their admit card along with a valid photo ID (such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport) to the examination center. Entry will be denied without both the admit card and ID.
