RRB Announces Revised Exam Schedule for Junior Engineer and Other Positions
Revised Exam Dates Released
New Delhi: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the updated examination schedule for the positions of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). In a notification released on February 10, the board revealed the new dates for the CBT 1 exam, which are set for February 19, 20, and 25, to be conducted at a later time.
Check Your Exam Center
Candidates can find their examination center details on the respective regional RRB websites. Admit cards will be available for download four to five days prior to the exam. Candidates can check their city slips on the official website rrbapply.gov.in or on regional RRB sites such as rrbcdg.gov.in, rrbjammu.nic.in, rrbchennai.gov.in, and rrbbhopal.gov.in.

The Railway Board issued a joint recruitment notification under CEN 05/2025 on September 29, 2025. Applications for these positions were accepted from October 31 to December 10, 2025. This recruitment drive is for 2,570 positions, offering a basic monthly salary of ₹35,400 under Level 6, along with additional benefits such as Dearness Allowance (DA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA).

Candidates can follow these simple steps to view their exam city and other essential details:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board, either on the central portal rrbcdg.gov.in or your respective regional RRB website.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for the link titled 'RRB City Intimation Slip 2025.'
Step 3: Click on the link, which will redirect you to a separate login page.
Step 4: Enter your login details in the required fields - either your registration number along with your password or date of birth.
Step 5: After logging in, your exam city, date, and shift time for the CBT 1 exam will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Download the city intimation slip and keep it safe for reference when planning your travel for the exam.
This slip includes the name of the exam city and state, assisting candidates in planning their journey ahead of time. It also lists the exam dates, allowing candidates to view their schedule without confusion or delay. The shift timings are provided to ensure candidates arrive at the center on time.
The official e-admit card will be issued later, containing the complete address of the exam center, roll number, and exam-related instructions. Candidates must attend only in their assigned shift and designated center; failure to do so may result in the cancellation of their candidature.
