The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has initiated a significant recruitment campaign for Teaching Associates under the Rajasthan College Education Society. The application process is expected to start soon, with a total of 3,540 vacancies available across 32 subjects, open to eligible candidates of both genders.

Application Timeline and Additional Posts

According to RSSB Chairman Major General Alok Raj, the online application window will open on May 5 and close on June 3. The written examinations are slated for September and October. Additionally, he mentioned that 2,000 more positions will be added under the L1 Teacher Recruitment initiative, with a separate notification to follow.

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

Educational Requirements: Candidates must hold a post-graduate degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% aggregate marks. Furthermore, qualifying the NET examination by UGC or CSIR, or the SLET/SET examination is essential.

Age Restrictions: Applicants should be aged between 18 and 40 years as of January 1, 2027. Age relaxations apply: five years for women in the General Category and men in Reserved Categories, and ten years for women in Reserved Categories. Additional benefits will also be provided to widowed women.

Candidates from the General category and those outside Rajasthan must pay ₹600, while applicants from OBC, MBC, EWS, SC, and ST categories are required to pay ₹400. This fee also applies to candidates with disabilities. Payments can be made online using Net Banking, UPI, credit card, or debit card.
