Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026: The much-anticipated event 'Pariksha Pe Charcha,' led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is taking place today. This initiative aims to assist students in managing exam-related stress while promoting a positive outlook. During this special episode, the Prime Minister will discuss various topics concerning examinations, the significance of maintaining a stress-free environment, and the focus on learning. The broadcast is scheduled for 10 AM, with over 4.5 crore participants registered for the event.


Topics and Format Changes

In a recent social media update, the Prime Minister highlighted that this year's program will delve into a variety of engaging subjects. He expressed his enjoyment in interacting with talented students through this platform. This marks the 9th edition of the program, which will be accessible on television and OTT platforms such as SonyLIV, Prime Video, and Zee5.


New Format for Engagement:
Unlike previous years where the event was primarily held at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi, this year introduces a new format. The Prime Minister is now directly engaging with students from various regions across the country. Recent interactions have included students from Devmogra, Coimbatore, Raipur, and Guwahati.


Additionally, select students had the chance to meet the Prime Minister at his residence (7, Lok Kalyan Marg) in Delhi to discuss their queries.


Record Participation and Broadcast Details

The Prime Minister conveyed his excitement about the program via social media, noting that the return of 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' during the exam season revitalizes students. He encouraged them to approach their exams with confidence and without stress.


Record Registrations:
This year has seen an overwhelming response, with over 4.5 crore students registering, surpassing last year's Guinness World Record. The participation includes more than 4.19 crore students, around 24.84 lakh teachers, and approximately 6.15 lakh parents, showcasing the program's effectiveness in alleviating exam anxiety.


Live Broadcast Information:
The event on February 6th will be aired live on Doordarshan's DD National, DD News, and DD India channels, along with All India Radio. Students can also view it online via the Ministry of Education's YouTube channel, Facebook Live, and the MyGov.in portal. Several private channels will also cover the event, ensuring widespread access to the Prime Minister's insights.


Connection to the 'Exam Warriors' Initiative

Pariksha Pe Charcha is an integral part of the central government's Exam Warriors initiative, designed to help students manage anxiety during exams. With various board exams, including CBSE, set to commence in mid-February and competitive exams like JEE Main scheduled for April, this interaction is deemed beneficial for enhancing students' confidence.


Students from class 6 and above, along with teachers and parents, are encouraged to participate. Winners of associated competitions will receive certificates and opportunities to engage in future programs. This discussion extends beyond exam preparation, inspiring youth to tackle life's challenges.
