NTA Announcement: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has unveiled the timetable for the National Initiative for Technical Teachers Training (NITTT) examination, targeting candidates for the April-May 2026 semester. This examination will take place in an online remote-proctored format on July 31, August 1, August 7, and August 8, 2026.


Purpose of the NITTT Examination

Objective:
The NITTT examination aims to provide in-service training for newly appointed educators in institutions recognized by AICTE. The focus is on enhancing pedagogical skills, professional competence, and teaching effectiveness.


Evaluation Process

Assessment Criteria:
Teachers participating in the NITTT will be assessed through regular assignments and a final online examination. Successful completion of all modules and exams within three years of appointment is necessary for probation confirmation and promotion eligibility.

Guidelines for NITTT 2026 Examination

Admit Card Information:
Candidates can obtain their admit cards from nittt.nta.ac.in. To access the admit card, registration number and date of birth are required.


The examination will be conducted in English and will feature 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).


Important Requirements:
It is crucial to bring the admit card and a valid photo ID to the examination. Entry will be denied without these documents. Candidates may carry a transparent water bottle. Human proctors will oversee the examination process, monitoring candidates' activities and screens.


If any suspicious behavior is detected, proctors may request candidates to adjust their webcams or laptops to display their surroundings. Candidates will receive warnings via chat for any rule violations, and failure to comply may result in exam cancellation. It is vital to monitor the chat window for instructions from the proctor, as no paper or rough work materials are allowed during the exam.
