Jamia Millia Islamia Opens Admissions for 49 Online Programs for 2026-27

Admission Announcement for Online Programs



Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has initiated the admission process for 49 online and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programs under the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) for the academic year 2026-27. Interested applicants can submit their applications online until August 10, 2026, via the university's official admission portal.

A total of 49 programs are available for admission through the CDOE, which includes Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), Post Graduate Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Diploma, and Certificate courses.

This year, the university has also introduced two new programs: B.Sc. (Biosciences) – Online Mode and MBA – Online Mode. Admission for these two courses will be determined based on previous academic performance and an interview.

Selection Process

Most courses will admit students based on merit. However, certain programs, including MBA (ODL) and B.Ed, will require entrance exams. The entrance test is scheduled for August 22, 2026. Admission to the new online MBA and B.Sc. Biosciences programs will also be based on merit and an interview.


Application Procedure

Candidates can apply online by visiting JMI's official admission portal. During the application process, candidates must upload their academic documents, a photograph, a signature, and any other necessary certificates. After completing the application form, the required fee must be paid online.
