Essential Notice for CUET UG 2026

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a crucial advisory for students preparing for the CUET UG 2026 examination. Candidates are urged to ensure that their essential documents are updated accurately and submitted on time.

The CUET UG 2026 exam is scheduled for May 2026, and eligible candidates can register through the official website cuet.nta.nic.in.

Document Update Reminder

Students must ensure that their documents are current and correct. The application process will retrieve the candidate's name, date of birth, gender, photo, and address from UIDAI via Aadhaar authentication. However, since the Aadhaar card does not include the names of parents or guardians, students will need to manually enter this information in the online application.

Correction Opportunities

If there are any discrepancies between the name or date of birth on a student's Aadhaar card and their 10th-grade mark sheet, they will have the chance to rectify these during the application process. The NTA previously advised students to update their Aadhaar card, UDID card, and category certificate before the CUET UG 2026 application begins to prevent any issues.

Exam Schedule

The CUET UG 2026 examination will take place in May 2026 at various centers across India and internationally, available in 13 languages. This exam is essential for admission into undergraduate programs at all Central Universities and participating institutions.
