Admit Card Announcement

The Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission (HPPSC) has issued the admit card for the written examination for the Junior Office Assistant (IT) Job-Trainee position. This examination is set to begin on September 28, utilizing digital OMR tablets for the first time. Candidates who have submitted their applications can access their admit cards through the official recruitment portal.

Exam Schedule

The HPRCA JOA (IT) examination will take place over four days: September 28, 29, 30, and October 1, 2026. The exam will be conducted in two shifts:

First Shift: Candidates should arrive by 8:00 AM; gates will close at 9:30 AM, and the exam will run from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

Second Shift: Reporting time is 1:00 PM; gates will close at 2:30 PM, with the exam scheduled from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

Required Documents for Exam Day

Candidates must bring the following items to the examination center:

Admit card

Two passport-sized photographs

At least two original and valid photo identity proofs, such as:

Voter ID

Aadhaar card

Printout of verified e-Aadhaar

Driving license

PAN card

e-PAN card

It is essential to carry either a printout of the verified e-Aadhaar or another valid photo ID. Candidates without proper identification will not be allowed to take the exam. If there are doubts about the authenticity of an ID, an additional valid photo ID must be presented. Photocopies of IDs are not acceptable.

Prohibited Items in the Exam Hall

The following items are strictly forbidden in the examination hall:

Mobile phones, pagers, smartwatches, and earphones

Bluetooth devices, microphones, health bands, and calculators

Books, papers, pens, pencils, erasers, scales, and writing pads

Pouches, handbags, purses, belts, and caps

Jewelry, including bangles, bracelets, and other metal items

Religious items and metal coins

Cameras and electronic gadgets

Colored or wrapped water bottles

Packaged or loose food items

Any valuables

Only the admit card and an original photo ID will be permitted inside the examination hall. Candidates do not need to bring their own writing instruments, as pens will be provided. It is advised to avoid applying Mehendi (henna) on hands or feet, as it may interfere with biometric verification.

Troubleshooting Password Reset Issues

If you do not receive the password reset link via email, first check that you entered the correct email address during the application process. If an incorrect email was provided, it cannot be changed later according to HPRCA regulations, and you will not receive the reset link.

If your email address is accurate, check your Spam and Junk folders. If the link is still not found after verifying your email and checking these folders, reach out to HPRCA through their official email or helpdesk number during business hours.
