Guidelines for UP SI Exam 2026: Key Information for Candidates
UP SI Exam 2026 Overview
Important Guidelines for UP SI Exam 2026: The recruitment examination for the Uttar Pradesh Police Sub-Inspector (Daroga) will take place in two shifts on March 14 and 15. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released vital information for all candidates participating in this examination. This includes essential guidelines and an important update regarding Aadhaar numbers, which candidates must be aware of.
Aadhaar Number Requirements
Candidates whose Aadhaar numbers are either not included in their application forms or show discrepancies must arrive at the examination center 2.5 hours prior to the exam start time. Failing to comply with this requirement may result in being denied entry to the examination, potentially causing candidates to miss the opportunity to take the test.
Key Guidelines for Candidates
The UPPRPB has outlined five crucial guidelines for candidates attending the written examination for the UP SI recruitment. This notice was published on the official website on March 10.
1. Candidates should reach the examination venue 2 hours before the exam starts, bringing their admit card, Aadhaar card (or another valid ID such as a Driving License or Passport), and a black or blue ballpoint pen.
2. Entry to the examination center will close 30 minutes before the exam begins; no late entries will be allowed.
3. Those who did not register their Aadhaar numbers or whose details were mismatched must report 2.5 hours before the exam for verification. They should bring an 'unlocked' Aadhaar card.
4. To prevent complications, candidates are encouraged to arrive early and follow all instructions on their admit cards.
5. Technical measures are in place at the centers to detect impersonation attempts, with strict legal actions against offenders.
Prohibited Items
Bringing any study materials (printed or handwritten), loose sheets, geometry boxes, calculators, credit/debit cards, rulers, notebooks, pen drives, erasers, electronic devices (including mobile phones, smartwatches, etc.), food items, and other specified items is strictly forbidden. Legal action will be taken if any prohibited items are found during the examination.
