Important Instructions for JEE Main 2026

The JEE Main 2026 examination is set to take place nationwide tomorrow, with millions of students expected to participate. It is crucial for candidates to familiarize themselves with the following essential rules before the exam.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has established strict regulations for the exam day. Failing to adhere to these guidelines could result in being barred from entering the examination venue. To avoid any issues, candidates should arrive punctually, carry all required documents, and comply fully with NTA regulations.

Timeliness is Key

Candidates are required to arrive at the examination center at least two hours prior to the exam's commencement. Delays caused by traffic or public transport will not be accepted as valid reasons for late entry. Once the gates close, no latecomers will be permitted entry.

No Exceptions for Late Arrivals

The NTA has made it clear that no requests for late entry will be entertained. It is solely the candidate's responsibility to ensure timely arrival at the examination center.

Mandatory Documents

To gain entry into the examination hall, candidates must present a printed admit card obtained from the NTA website, along with a valid photo ID. Without these documents, entry will be denied.

Seating Regulations

Candidates will be assigned specific seats based on their roll numbers. Sitting in an incorrect seat will be treated as an attempt to use unfair means (UFM), which could lead to disqualification from the exam.

Question Paper Verification

It is imperative for candidates to check the question paper displayed on their screens carefully. If there is a discrepancy with the chosen subject, they should immediately notify the examination staff.

Cooperation with Staff

Candidates must fully cooperate with examination personnel during identity verification, biometric checks, and other procedures. Non-compliance may result in disciplinary action.
