Candidates aspiring to join the flight crew have encountered challenges while trying to submit their applications due to a malfunction in the DGCA examination portal. In response to numerous complaints voiced by students on social media, the application deadline has been officially extended. Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu shared this update on social media, assuring that the examination portal will be operational shortly and that relevant instructions have been communicated.
**Minister Naidu Addresses Technical Issues**
In his announcement, Minister Naidu mentioned, "I have been informed about the issues faced by flight crew candidates with the 'DGCA examination portal' for the 2026 OLODE Session 06 (scheduled from 19.08 to 21.08). Due to a technical error, several students were unable to submit their applications on time. Consequently, I have instructed that the deadline for online applications be extended to 10.08.2026. Furthermore, I have directed the DGCA to restore the 'examination portal' and improve its backend capacity promptly."
**Support for Affected Candidates**
The Union Minister's decision brings relief to those candidates who faced difficulties due to the website issues. The application window will now be open for an additional three days for all affected candidates, ensuring that no one needs to be concerned.
