Special Arrangements for NEET Candidates in Delhi

The Delhi administration has introduced specific provisions to assist NEET candidates and their families. Free travel on DTC buses is available, and designated resting areas have been established outside examination centers to help alleviate the discomfort caused by the heat.

In preparation for the NEET medical entrance exam, the administration is focusing on enhancing the experience for both candidates and their guardians. Various initiatives are being put in place to address the challenges posed by high temperatures and transportation issues during the exam period in the capital.

Comfortable Waiting Areas for Guardians

Officials shared updates through their official social media account, highlighting that many parents and relatives typically wait outside exam centers after dropping off students. To combat the intense June heat and humidity, the administration has decided to create special resting zones for these individuals. These areas will provide shelter from the sun, allowing them to avoid standing in the open for long durations.

Amenities Available at Relief Centers

These designated zones will feature sufficient seating arrangements. Moreover, amenities such as cold drinking water, *shikanji* (a type of lemonade), ORS, and tea will be accessible. First-aid services will also be available to address any emergencies, ensuring prompt assistance when needed.

Transportation Made Easier for Students

To reduce traffic congestion and travel-related stress on exam day, students will benefit from free public transport. Candidates can utilize Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) buses at no cost, facilitating easier access to their exam centers and allowing them to concentrate solely on their upcoming tests.

Encouragement from the Delhi Government

The Delhi government has conveyed its best wishes to all students participating in the exam. They encouraged candidates to approach the test with a positive mindset and confidence, emphasizing that the students' hard work and commitment will pave the way for their success and contribute to a brighter future for both Delhi and the nation.
