Delay in CUET UG 2026 Exam

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced via a tweet that a technical glitch reported by TCS has caused a delay in the commencement of the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET UG) for the first session today. The agency has confirmed that the issue has been resolved and that students will be granted additional time. To ensure that no candidate faces inconvenience, the timing for the afternoon session has been adjusted. Reporting and entry for the second session will now begin at 2:30 PM, with the exam starting at 4:00 PM.


Official Statement from the Board

Postponement of CUET UG

Recently, the examination agency released a revised schedule for the exam originally set for May 28, which was postponed due to Bakrid. According to the updated calendar, the rescheduled exams will now take place on three dates: May 31, June 6, and June 7, 2026. Candidates can view and download the official schedule through the official website cuet.nta.nic.in.


Nationwide Examination Conduct

The NTA is conducting the CUET UG 2026 from May 11 to June 7, 2026, in a computer-based test (CBT) format across India and in 14 international cities in 13 countries. These include Sharjah and Abu Dhabi (UAE), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Kuwait, Kathmandu (Nepal), Doha (Qatar), Muscat (Oman), Manama (Bahrain), Singapore, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), and Washington D.C.
