Change in School Timings in Prayagraj

As the cold and fog conditions worsen in Uttar Pradesh, the district administration of Prayagraj has opted to modify school hours. This decision prioritizes the health and safety of students. An official directive was issued by the District Basic Education Officer (BSA), Anil Kumar, following the guidance of District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma.

Per the new order, all educational institutions up to class 8 in Prayagraj will now function from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This change affects primary, upper primary, and composite schools governed by the Basic Education Council, including government, aided, and recognized private institutions. Furthermore, schools affiliated with CBSE, ICSE, and other boards must also adhere to this new schedule.

BSA Anil Kumar has mandated that all school administrators and principals ensure strict adherence to this order. Schools that fail to comply may face necessary actions.

This order will remain in effect until further notice.

The administration has expressed concerns that the severe cold and fog during morning hours pose challenges for young children traveling to and from school, potentially impacting their health. Therefore, this temporary adjustment in school timings has been implemented. Updates will be provided once weather conditions improve. Parents are encouraged to cooperate with the administration's directives and prioritize their children's safety.
