The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has officially initiated the application process for numerous Home Guard roles. This is significant news for countless job seekers in Uttar Pradesh.


Starting from November 18, 2025, candidates can submit their applications, with the final date set for December 17. Interested individuals should visit the official UPPBPB website to apply.


This recruitment campaign aims to fill a total of 41,424 Home Guard positions across the state. Here are the eligibility criteria and application fees.


To qualify for the Home Guard role, applicants must have completed their 10th grade. It is essential to upload a high school marksheet or certificate during the application process. Applications lacking valid documentation will be rejected immediately.


The age requirements stipulate that general category candidates must be between 18 and 30 years old. However, candidates from SC, ST, and OBC categories will receive age relaxation in accordance with government reservation policies, allowing older applicants to apply.


The application fee varies by category: General, OBC, and EWS candidates are required to pay ₹400, while SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates will pay ₹300.


For male applicants, the minimum height requirement is 168 centimeters for General, SC, and OBC categories, and 160 centimeters for ST candidates.


Female candidates must meet a minimum height of 152 centimeters for General, SC, and OBC categories, and 147 centimeters for ST candidates. Additionally, all female candidates must weigh at least 40 kilograms.
