Purpose of the UPSSSC PET Exam

The Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) is organized by the Uttar Pradesh government to facilitate recruitment for Group C government positions. Successful candidates can apply for various roles, including Lower Subordinate, Junior Assistant, Lekhpal, and Forest Guard. This year, the exam will facilitate recruitment for 5,833 positions.

Exam Structure

The exam will utilize OMR sheets, awarding 1 mark for each correct answer and deducting 0.25 marks for incorrect responses.

Measures Against Cheating

To ensure a fair examination process, the District Magistrate will oversee the proceedings. Strict measures have been implemented to maintain integrity, including the installation of 32,259 CCTV cameras for live monitoring. Additionally, 2,958 sector and static magistrates, along with over 1.64 lakh personnel, will be deployed to uphold fairness.

Focus on Transparency and Logistics

To enhance transparency, examination papers will be unsealed in front of candidates. Furthermore, arrangements for an uninterrupted power supply have been established to prevent any disruptions during the exam. Transportation services, including railways and roadways, have also been alerted to assist students in reaching their exam centers without issues.
