Changes in Vacancy Numbers

Revised Vacancy Details

Regarding the positions and reservations at the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, changes have been made. The number of posts reserved for OBC candidates has been increased from 1,441 to 2,158 as per the amendment made on December 16.

In addition to OBC, there has been an increase in the number of posts for SC and ST categories, with 1,679 and 160 positions available, respectively. For the General category, there are 3,205 positions, and for EWS, 792 positions are available.

Selection Process Overview

For the Lekhpal selection process, candidates will be shortlisted based on their PET-2025 scores. Only those who participated in the PET-2025 will be eligible.

A written examination lasting 2 hours will follow, consisting of 100 MCQ questions covering topics such as Indian history, geography, economy, national and international events, computer and information technology, and general knowledge of Uttar Pradesh.
