UPSC Releases Interview Schedule for Civil Services Exam 2025

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has unveiled the interview schedule for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025, set to begin on December 8. A total of 2,736 candidates have qualified for this stage following the announcement of the CSE (Main) results. UPSC Announces Interview Dates for CSE 2025


The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the schedule for the personality test (interview) for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 on December 2, 2025. The results for the CSE (Main) 2025 were announced on November 11, 2025, with a total of 2,736 candidates qualifying for the next stage of the selection process, which is the personality test. The commission has confirmed that the interviews will commence on Monday, December 8, 2025.


Candidates who are set to appear for the examination can now review the detailed interview schedule, which includes the roll numbers assigned to the shortlisted candidates, along with the respective dates and session timings. The UPSC has published the personality test schedule for 649 candidates, and the program for the remaining eligible candidates will be uploaded on the official website in due course.

Documents Required for the Personality Test

Essential Documents for Candidates



  • Candidates must bring the following original documents during the interview:

  • Certificates supporting eligibility

  • Educational qualification documents

  • Reservation category certificate (if applicable)

  • Community status certificate

  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate

  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) certificate

  • Travel Allowance (TA) form

  • Any other documents specified by the commission


Travel Allowance Details

Reimbursement for Travel Expenses



  • The UPSC will reimburse travel expenses for candidates attending the interview.

  • Reimbursement will be limited to the second or sleeper class rail fare (mail/express). Candidates traveling by other means will receive reimbursement as per SR-132 and the commission's guidelines. To claim the allowance, candidates must submit the following documents:

  • Hard copies or printouts of tickets showing fare details for both sides

  • Two copies of the prescribed TA claim form

  • The TA bill form is available in the 'Forms and Downloads' section on the commission's website.

  • E-summon letters will be issued shortly.

  • Each selected candidate will receive an e-summon letter, which must be downloaded from the UPSC official portal:

The e-summon letter will clearly indicate whether the candidate has been allocated a morning or afternoon session. The UPSC has also stated that requests for changes in interview dates or times will generally not be entertained.
