UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 Results Overview
The results for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 have been released, showcasing a remarkable performance by Delhi University (DU). Out of the top 30 candidates, 15 hail from DU, highlighting its academic prowess. Additionally, five students from Anna University in Chennai also secured spots in this elite group.
Candidates from various states contributed to the top ranks, including two each from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chandigarh, three from Bihar and Tamil Nadu, and one each from Haryana, Punjab, Telangana, and Gujarat.
Success Rates Among Different Educational Backgrounds
Engineering Students Shine
This year, candidates who opted for Sociology as their optional subject achieved the highest success rate. The top 30 included a diverse range of educational backgrounds: 12 graduates from Arts, 5 from Commerce, and 8 from Engineering (BE/BTech). Notably, only one candidate was a Law graduate.

Anuj Agnihotri Secures All India Rank 1
Anuj Agnihotri has claimed the top position in the UPSC Civil Services Examination, achieving All India Rank 1. Currently working with DANICS, Agnihotri dedicated himself to disciplined preparation during his training. He holds an MBBS degree and focused on Medical Science as his major.
