Candidates who wish to apply for these roles can do so by visiting the UPSC's official website. The online application process commenced on February 11, 2026, and will remain open until March 3.

Details of Recruitment

The UPSC has announced recruitment for a total of 44 positions, which includes 16 vacancies for the Indian Economic Service and 28 for the Indian Statistical Service.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years of age, with age relaxation applicable for candidates from reserved categories.

For the Indian Economic Service (IES), candidates should possess a master's degree in Economics, Applied Economics, or Business Economics from a recognized institution in India.
