UPMSP Junior Assistant Recruitment 2025

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is set to initiate recruitment for Junior Assistant roles. A total of 282 positions will be filled at the UP Board's headquarters in Prayagraj and its five regional offices.

Currently, there are 415 sanctioned Junior Assistant roles within the UP Board. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has already advertised 105 of these vacancies. Additionally, the Board has communicated details about 177 more vacant positions to the Commission, with recruitment expected to commence shortly.

In 2019, the Board successfully recruited 222 Junior Assistants, and a special selection process was held for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Denotified Tribes in 2007-08.

Traditionally, 50% of Junior Clerk positions are filled through direct recruitment, while the other half comes from promotions of Category IV employees. However, as Category IV roles are now being outsourced, the promotion pathway for filling these positions has been closed.

This shift raises the likelihood that all vacancies will be filled through direct recruitment, ensuring that long-standing vacancies are addressed and the office functions efficiently.
