Important Update for Candidates: A significant announcement has been made regarding the direct recruitment process for Sub-Inspector (SI) positions in the Civil Police and equivalent ranks for 2025. The Police Recruitment Board has decided to postpone the Physical Efficiency Test (running) due to continuous heavy rainfall in Gorakhpur district, prioritizing safety and law enforcement.
Originally, the Physical Efficiency Test was set for June 29 and June 30, 2026, at the 26th Battalion PAC Ground in Gorakhpur. However, the adverse weather conditions have made the ground unsuitable for the test, leading to its cancellation.
New Schedule Announcement
In light of the cancellation, the Recruitment Board has provided new dates and a different venue for the test. The Physical Efficiency Test will now take place at the 35th Battalion PAC Ground in Lucknow district. Here are the updated details:
- For Candidates Originally Scheduled on June 29: The test will now occur on July 1, 2026, at the 35th Battalion PAC Ground in Lucknow.
- For Candidates Originally Scheduled on June 30: The test will now take place on July 2, 2026, at the same venue in Lucknow.
Candidates are advised to arrive at the new location punctually, adhering to the revised schedule due to the weather-related changes.
Reasons for Cancellation: The examination was cancelled due to persistent heavy rainfall.
New Venue Details: The examination has been relocated to the 35th Battalion PAC grounds in Lucknow district.
