UP Police SI Recruitment 2025 Overview

UP Police SI Recruitment 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced the recruitment notification for the positions of Sub-Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk), and ASI (Accounts). A total of 537 candidates will be selected through this recruitment process. Interested individuals can submit their applications online until January 19, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Who is Eligible to Apply?

SI (Confidential): Applicants must hold a graduate degree from a recognized institution. Additionally, they should have a typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi, 30 words per minute in English, and 80 words per minute in Hindi shorthand. An ‘O’ Level computer certificate is also required.

ASI (Clerk): Candidates must possess a graduate degree and have a typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi and 30 words per minute in English. An ‘O’ Level computer certificate is mandatory.

ASI (Accounts): A B.Com degree is required for this position, along with a typing speed of 15 words per minute in Hindi. An ‘O’ Level computer certificate is also necessary.

Application Fee Structure

Application Fees:

For candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories, the application fee is ₹500. Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates are required to pay ₹400.

Salary Information

Salary Details:

Selected candidates will receive salaries as per the 7th Pay Commission. The salary for the SI (Confidential) position will be in Pay Level 6, ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400. For the ASI (Clerk and Accounts) roles, the salary is set in Pay Level 5, ranging from ₹29,200 to ₹92,300. Various allowances will also be provided according to government regulations.
