Slow Application Rate Explained
Reasons for Slow Applications
According to the recruitment board, as of August 21, 2025, approximately 75,000 applications had been received for the Sub-Inspector and equivalent positions, while the expected number exceeds 2 million. A significant factor contributing to the slow application rate was that many candidates lacked their original degrees and were busy obtaining them from their universities. The board's new decision alleviates this issue, and it has been reported that over 850,000 candidates have registered under the one-time registration process, leading to expectations of increased application speed.
