The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has activated the form correction window. This allows applicants to rectify any errors in their submissions. Here’s what you need to know about the correction process, deadlines, and recruitment specifics.

Vacancy Overview

The UP Police Recruitment Board is set to fill a total of 32,679 positions across various units in this recruitment initiative. The breakdown of vacancies is as follows:



  • 10,469 positions for Constable Civil Police (Male/Female)


  • 15,131 positions for PAC (Male only)


  • 2,282 positions for Women PAC Battalion (Lucknow, Budaun, and Gorakhpur)


  • 1,341 positions in the Special Security Force


  • 71 positions in the Mounted Police


  • 3,279 positions for Jail Warder (Male)


  • 106 positions for Jail Warder (Female)



Allowed Updates in the Application

During the correction period, candidates are permitted to modify specific details in their application forms. This includes:



  • Correcting spelling errors in names or parents' names


  • Adjusting date of birth


  • Updating educational qualifications


  • Changing category, address, and contact information



However, it is important to note that changes cannot be made to information retrieved from the One Time Registration (OTR) or the uploaded photograph.

Correction Deadline

The correction window will remain accessible until 6 AM on February 3, 2026. After this deadline, no further modifications will be allowed, so candidates are urged to check their applications promptly.

  1. Visit the official UPPRPB website at uppbpb.gov.in.


  2. Click on the correction link at apply.upprpb.in.


  3. Log in using your registered ID, Aadhaar ID, or DigiLocker.


  4. Navigate to Application History and select the Modify Details option.


  5. Make the necessary corrections and resubmit your form.


  6. Remember, information from OTR and the uploaded photo cannot be altered.
