UP Board Offers Second Chance for Practical Exams Amidst Student Challenges

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced a second opportunity for students who missed the practical exams scheduled from January 24 to February 1, 2026. The new practical exam dates are set for February 2 to February 9, 2026. Additionally, the board examinations for High School and Intermediate will take place from February 18 to March 12, 2026, with admit cards available through schools. Over 52 lakh students are expected to participate, making this a crucial update for all involved.
 

Important Update for UP Board Students



Students preparing for the UP Board examinations should take note of a significant announcement. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has scheduled the High School and Intermediate practical exams for 2026 from January 24 to February 1, 2026. However, many students faced challenges that prevented them from attending these practical assessments.


To ensure that no student misses out on their academic progress, the UP Board has extended an additional opportunity until February 4th. Schools have been notified regarding this extension.


Details of the Second Phase Practical Exams

The second phase of practical examinations is set to occur from February 2 to February 9, 2026. These exams will be conducted across various divisions, including Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur.


Upcoming Admit Cards

The UP Board will hold the board examinations for both High School and Intermediate levels from February 18 to March 12, 2026. Students can expect the admit cards to be released soon. It is important to note that students will not be able to download their admit cards online; instead, they will need to collect them from their respective schools through the principal or class teacher.


Exam Schedule and Participation

The board examinations will be organized in two shifts: the first shift will run from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM, while the second shift will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.


This year, over 52 lakh students are expected to participate in the UP Board examinations. Specifically, 2,750,945 students are registered for High School, and 2,479,352 students are enrolled for Class 12.
