The application window for Apprenticeship roles at Union Bank of India is closing soon. Interested candidates must submit their applications by May 19, 2026. The official announcement indicates that there are 1,865 Apprentice positions available. Given the approaching deadline, applicants are encouraged to finalize their submissions promptly.


Eligibility Requirements


To qualify for application, candidates should be at least 20 years old, with a maximum age limit of 28 years, calculated as of April 1, 2026. Age relaxations are available for candidates from reserved categories: SC and ST candidates receive a five-year extension, OBC candidates get three years, and those with disabilities are allowed an additional ten years.


A Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in India is mandatory for applicants.


Selection Methodology


The selection will involve a written test followed by a Local Language Proficiency Test. The written exam will consist of 100 questions worth a total of 100 marks, covering areas such as Financial and General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Computers, and subject-specific knowledge. Successful candidates in this exam will then be invited to take the Local Language Proficiency Test.


Stipend Information


The apprenticeship program lasts for one year, during which candidates will receive a stipend. Those living in rural and semi-rural areas will earn ₹15,000 monthly, while candidates in urban areas will receive ₹18,000, and those in metropolitan cities will get ₹20,000 per month.
