These vacancies are distributed across the Garhwal and Kumaon divisions. The application process commenced today, September 17, 2025, and interested candidates can apply online via the official commission website. If any errors are found in the application, a correction window will be available from October 10 to 12, 2025. The written examination is tentatively scheduled for January 18, 2026.

The UKSSSC will fill 74 positions in the Garhwal Division and 54 in the Kumaon Division, totaling 128 vacancies.


Eligibility Criteria

Who can apply?


Candidates must possess a B.Ed degree in Special Education from an institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Additionally, a valid RCI CRR number is required. The age limit for applicants is set between 21 and 42 years, with age relaxation available for candidates from reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC/Divyang.


Salary and Application Fee

Teacher Salary: How much salary will be given?


Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 under Level-7, along with other government allowances. The application fee is Rs 300 for General/OBC candidates and Rs 150 for SC/ST/EWS/Divyang applicants.


Exam Pattern

What will be the pattern of the exam?


The examination will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with a total of 100 questions to be answered within 2 hours. There will be negative marking, with 1/4 marks deducted for each incorrect answer. The qualifying marks are set at 45 for general/OBC candidates and 35 for SC/ST candidates.
