The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam, has released a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher, and Hindi Teacher (UP Schools), as well as Assistant Teacher (LP Schools) vacancies. Here are the details:

• Starting Date for Apply Online: 02-01-2024 from 10:00 AM
• Last Date to Apply Online: 02-02-2024 up to 10:00 PM
• Re-Open Dates:
  • Starting Date for Apply Online: 03-02-2024
  • Last Date to Apply Online: 13-02-2024

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2023):

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for Unreserved Category: 40 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for Ex-Servicemen: 42 years
• Maximum Age Limit for OBC/ MOBC: 43 years
• Maximum Age Limit for SC/ ST(P)/ST(H): 45 years
• Maximum Age Limit for Persons with Disability (PwD): 50 years
• Age relaxation is admissible as per rules.

Qualification:

• For Assistant Teacher (LP): Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary, D.El.Ed, Assam TET, or Central TET for Lower Primary.
• For Asst Teacher (UP), Science Teacher (UP) & Hindi Teacher (UP): Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary, D.El.Ed, B.El.Ed, B.Ed, Assam TET, or Central TET for Upper Primary School.
