SSC Updates Document Verification Process for Selection Post Examination
Changes in Document Scrutiny Process
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has introduced important modifications to the document scrutiny and verification process for the Phase XIII/2025 Selection Post Examination. Under the new system, the respective user departments will directly examine candidates' documents and submit their findings to the Commission. This change was announced in the examination notification dated June 2, 2025, and will apply to all future recruitments.
New Document Upload and Verification Procedure
Following the announcement of the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) results, candidates will continue to upload their documents to the SSC portal. The SSC will then relay these documents to the relevant user departments. These departments will evaluate the documents based on the eligibility criteria outlined in the examination notification and compile a provisional acceptance or rejection list.
Final Acceptance/Rejection List
The provisional list will be made available on the Regional Office (RO) website. Candidates who wish to contest any decisions can submit their objections directly to the relevant department. After considering all objections, the department will finalize the acceptance or rejection list and forward it to the RO for publication on the website.
Skill Tests for Specific Positions
For roles that necessitate a skill test, the appropriate department or the SSC will conduct the assessment. Candidates whose documents meet the requirements will be invited for Document Verification (DV). Once the DV is completed, the department will send the report to the RO, which will then publish the selection list.
