Application Process for SSC Recruitment
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has commenced the application process for 227 vacancies, including positions for Upper Division Clerks. This recruitment is specifically for internal promotions aimed at filling roles within various Central Government departments. Only those currently employed in government roles, such as Junior Secretariat Assistants (JSAs) or Lower Division Clerks (LDCs), are eligible to submit their applications.
The distribution of vacancies is as follows: 76 positions in the Central Passport Organization and Ministry of External Affairs; 42 in the Armed Forces Headquarters Clerical Service; 19 in the Railway Board Secretariat Clerical Service; 24 in the Central Administrative Tribunal; 6 in the Central Vigilance Commission; 12 in the Election Commission of India; 4 in the Forest Survey of India (Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change); 8 in the National Technical Research Organisation; 8 in the Directorate General of Defence Estates; and 28 in the Office of the Development Commissioner (Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises).
