SSC CGL Exam 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has confirmed that the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination for 2025 is proceeding without significant issues. The commission has refuted claims circulating on social media regarding widespread cancellations of the exams.


As of now, out of the planned 2,435 shifts, only 25 have been canceled, affecting 7,705 candidates, all of whom have been assigned new exam dates.


The number of examination centers has been adjusted from the previously announced 260 to 227, meaning 33 centers have been removed. Nevertheless, the commission reassured candidates that the exams are being conducted according to the established schedule.

Exam Duration:


The SSC CGL 2025 examination commenced on September 12 and will continue until September 26. This year, approximately 28 lakh candidates have registered nationwide. The exams are being held in three shifts, with a significant number of students already participating.


The commission reported that no centers were canceled during the examination conducted on September 15, and all centers operated normally across the country.

Out of the expected 28 lakh candidates, 3,01,722 have successfully completed their exams without any issues.

Complaints of Technical Difficulties:


During the initial two days of the examination, several candidates reported technical difficulties and organizational issues. Some shifts at various centers in Delhi-NCR, Gurugram, West Bengal, and Jammu were canceled. Affected candidates will have the chance to retake their exams between September 22 and 27.
