South Eastern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025

The South Eastern Railway has announced the recruitment of apprentices, inviting applications for a total of 1,785 positions. Interested candidates can submit their applications online via the official South Eastern Railway website or the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) at rrcser.co.in. The application window will open on November 18 and close on December 17, 2025.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for these apprentice roles, applicants must have completed their Matriculation (10th Class under the 10+2 system) from a recognized board, achieving at least 50% marks in total (excluding additional subjects). Additionally, candidates should hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade, issued by either NCVT or SCVT.

Candidates must be aged between 15 and 24 years as of January 1, 2026. The age will be verified based on the Matriculation certificate or Birth Certificate.

Selection Methodology

The selection will be determined through a merit list created for each trade, based on the marks obtained in Matriculation. A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required. The merit list will consider all subjects for calculating the percentage, rather than focusing on any single subject.

Application Fee Details

The application fee is set at ₹100. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Women categories are exempt from this fee.
